William Mitchell have been one of the UK’s leading pen manufactures for almost 200 years, with a wide product offering, ranging from calligraphy dip pens and nibs, through to lino cutters and everything in between.

With many products to be proud of, but having only a basic brochure website with little in the way of quality content to promote them, William Mitchell could no longer rely purely on their printed collateral and reputable name to expose their constantly expanding product range; they needed a progressive ecommerce solution to match the company rebrand and new packaging Toxic Creative had developed for them earlier the same year.

Although William Mitchell do not require any purchase functionality, it is integral that they have a system that not only allows the admin users to easily upload new products along with photography and specification information; but that also allows the end user to instinctively navigate through such a vast range of different products.

It was integral that the user experience be instinctive and the design showcase the fantastic photography that really represents the high quality products that William Mitchell offer. Through use of colour coded categories and obvious call to actions, the site is uncluttered, clear and the user is able to easily navigate to an area of interest or to browse from product to product.

With customers all over the world, from end consumers to trade; William Mitchell offer different pricing structures. The trade log in allows a specific customer to see the product costs applicable to their account quickly and easily and without the confusion multiple prices and entering different discount codes.

William Mitchell can now offer it’s client a full online brochure, with tailored pricing and simple navigation. Other great benefits of williammitchellcalligraphy.co.uk are; a fully responsive website which looks and functions great on all devices, a stockist and distributors search function, which allows the users to find products near them, and ‘share with a friend’ functionality.
